Wiktoria Herun works in Strategy and Entrepreneurship Department, Academic Relations Division. Coordinator of “Study in Lublin” program in cooperation with 9 Lublin universities.

Since 2011, promoting Lublin as an academic city on the international arena (not only in the countries of Eastern Europe and Asia, but also, for example, in Portugal, Sweden and the USA). In this regard, in addition to running the www.student.lublin.eu website (where she also translates texts into English, Russian and Ukrainian), she organizes study visits abroad for representatives of Lublin universities, meetings at embassies and consulates, as well as at schools and universities. Main tasks include obtaining grants for integration projects and actively implementing these projects.

As an expert, she appeared at international forums (e.g. in Norrkoping at the conference "Welcoming Refugees - local European experiences. Good practices" or before the European Commission with the lecture "Foreigners in Lublin"). She organized three international conferences Integrating International Students (2016, 2018, 2022).

Coordinator of the EuniverCities network of cities and universities in Lublin. The aim of the cooperation is mutual learning how to create the most attractive conditions for studying, as well as the promotion of the existing scientific and didactic potential in a given city.
