Agnieszka Mazur has been working for the Polish-American Freedom Foundation since January 2011, from December 2019 in the position of program director, responsible for programs including: the Lane Kirkland Scholarships, the Study Tours to Poland, the Region in Transition (RITA) and lately the Support for Ukraine.
Since 1997 she has been professionally involved in the NGO sector, combining her experience at grantee and grant-making organizations. She implemented projects for a number of NGOs, including the Association for the Forum of Non-Governmental Initiatives and the Stefan Batory Foundation. In 2004-2010 she worked as program officer for the Leonardo da Vinci Programme of the European Union and then as deputy chief of the Fund for Non-Governmental Organizations, co-financed by Norway, Iceland and Lichtenstein. She has participated as an expert in a number of evaluations of non-profit projects financed by EU funds.
A graduate of the University of Warsaw, department of journalism and political science, she received a PhD in political science.
