In 1950, graduated from the Faculty of Automation and Electrical Instrumentation of the Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, majoring in “Automation and Telemechanics” (1973).

Doctor of Science (Engineering), professor, specialist in the field of artificial intelligence, artificial neural networks, computer-aided design, machine learning, evolutionary algorithms of multicriteria optimization, forecasting of stationary and non-stationary time series.Head of Department of Aviation Computer Integrated complexes of the National Aviation University (1996).

Member of societies. IEEE Aerospace and Electronic Systems Society (USA), IEEE Computational Intelligence Society(USA). Also a member of the editorial board of magazines «American Journal of Neural Networks and Applications» (USA), «Electronics and Control Systems» (Ukraine, chief ed.).

Laureate among others of the State Prize of Ukraine in the field of science and technology. Honored Worker of Science and Technology of Ukraine. Laureate of the international award named after M.M. Ostryakov. He received among others certificate of the ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and certificate of honor of the National Space Agency of Ukraine.
