Polish electronics engineer, professor of technical sciences, specializing in nuclear electronics and biomedical engineering. In 1981 he graduated from the Faculty of Electronics at the Warsaw University of Technology and in the same year he became an assistant at the Institute of Radioelectronics at the Warsaw University of Technology.

He received his doctorate in 1990. He obtained his habilitation in electronics in 2003 and received the title of professor in 2012. In 2002, he became the president of the Warsaw branch of the Polish Society of Medical Physics. In 2003, he became the head of the Department of Nuclear and Medical Electronics of the Warsaw University of Technology. Dean of the Faculty of Electronics and Information Technology of the Warsaw University of Technology in the years 2012-2016 and 2016-2020.

In 2014 he was awarded among others the Medal of the National Education Commission and in 1988 by the Minister of National Education.
