Polish chemist, professor of engineering and technical sciences, specialist in environmental chemistry. In 1996 he graduated in chemical technology at the Rzeszów University of Technology. In 1999 he received a doctorate in technical sciences at the Faculty of Civil and Sanitary Engineering of the Lublin University of Technology.

In 2009, he obtained a postdoctoral degree at the Faculty of Environmental Engineering of the Warsaw University of Technology, a postdoctoral degree in technical sciences. He was employed as an associate professor at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering and Architecture of the Rzeszów University of Technology and head of the Department of Environmental Engineering and Chemistry at this faculty. He held the position of the Dean of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering and Architecture, PR in the 2016-2020 term (he also held the position in the 2012-2016 term). He became a member of the Committee on Environmental Engineering of the Polish Academy of Sciences.

On April 17, 2020, he was elected rector of the Rzeszów University of Technology for the 2020–2024 term. In the same year he was awarded the title of professor of engineering and technical sciences.
