A graduate of economics (1996) and political science (1997) at Marie Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin, he defended his doctorate in management at the Warsaw School of Economics (2008). Expert and practitioner in the field of regional development and city strategy as well as strategic management in international business.
Author and co-author of over 100 publications and several books. In 2014-2016, a member of the Global Advisory Board at the Center for Leadership and Management at the American Rutgers University.
