Arkadiusz Bereza is chair of the Team for Aid to Ukraine at Maria Curie - Skłodowska University, a legal advisor with extensive experience. As the vice president of the National Chamber of Legal Advisers, he represents the largest legal self-government in Poland, with over 35,000 members legal advisers and 10 thousand applicants. He also manages the Center for Research, Studies and Legislation, which is the expert base of the council's self-government.
In the years 2007-2013 he was the dean of the Council of the Regional Chamber of Legal Advisers in Lublin. Since 2007 he has been an arbitrator at the Court of Arbitration at the Polish Chamber of Commerce. It is a part of various committees appointed by the minister of justice, including teams working on the reform of specific areas of law or monitoring the implementation of reforms.
In addition to extensive professional and organizational experience Arkadiusz Bereza also has significant scientific achievements: he is the author of 7 monographs on the history of the judiciary and the history of the judiciary as well as a co-author and editor of several didactic publications addressed to students and trainee attorneys-at-law.
