Inna Stepanets is an accreditation expert of educational programs in National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance and certified trainer (Online Education for Sustainable Development, UN Development Program). Since March 2019 she is an assistant professor in the Department of Country Studies and Tourism, Faculty of Geography at the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.

In the years 2015 – 2021 Inna Stepanets was the head of the Undergraduate and Postgraduate Student Employment Center of the University. In 2018 she defended her Candidate of Sciences dissertation “Regional Dimension of the Territorial Government Organization in Ukraine”. She was a postgraduate student (specialty Economic and Social Geography) at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. In 2009–2015 - student at the Faculty of Geography, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
