Prof. Marta Kosior-Kazberuk graduated from the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the Białystok University of Technology, obtaining the title of Master of Science in Civil Engineering in 1995, specializing in building and engineering structures. In 2002, she received a doctoral degree In 2014, she obtained her habilitation Since graduating, she has been working at the Białystok University of Technology, initially as an assistant at the Department of Concrete Structures, from 2004 as an assistant professor, and then as an associate professor at the Department of Building Structures.
Since 2015, she has been the head of the Department of Building Structures. She performed or performs numerous functions at the university. In 2005–2012, she was deputy dean for student affairs and teaching at the Faculty. From 2016 to 2020, Vice-Rector for Education and International Cooperation. On June 16, 2020, she was elected by the University Electoral College to act as the rector of the Białystok University of Technology for the 2020–2024 term.
Her scientific achievements include a monograph, over 60 articles, 10 chapters in monographs, and about 50 conference papers. Member of the Polish Association of Civil Engineers and Technicians, Building Materials Engineering Section of the Civil Engineering Committee of the Polish Academy of Sciences, Polish Ceramic Society. Since September 2022, she has been the President of the Management Board of the Polish Academic and Economic Forum.
